Linda Chow resides and works in her home based studio in New Westminster, BC.
Linda comes from an artistic family with home-crafts, woodwork, lapidary, sewing, fine needlework, knitting and crocheting being an integral part of her early years. There was always encouragement to try new ideas and work with various tools throughout Linda’s life and although there were many mishaps along the way, the experience helped creativity grow.
Linda has always enjoyed needlecrafts and textile dimensions, however, her heart had really been in working with wire, sheet metals, stones and beads.
A few years ago, Linda took a silversmith course and once that torch was put in her hand, the ideas and creations were expanded to include many more aspects of metalwork.
What a transformation! Now, ideas that were only put on paper in tucked away sketch books have now becoming realities!

Argentium Sterling Silver
Argentium Sterling Silver is made with a touch of Germanium giving it a whiter colour that is closer to fine silver than our traditional sterling. It is very slow to tarnish, resists scratches and keeps on shining. With 94.0% pure silver, Argentium meets the legal standard to be quality marked as sterling silver. I work in my home studio located in New Westminster, BC, Canada.
All pieces are made by hand usually with Argentium sterling silver although, I like to dabble in copper and in brass. The different textures are created with hammers, rolling mills and other various tools so each piece is in fact a one-of-a-kind.
My inspriations come mostly from nature with the leaves fluttering to the ground, the waves on the river or the old iron gate on a stately nearby property. Each walk brings new ideas and I can harldy wait to return to my studio to put ideas to paper.
